NOW EVEN BETTER: FERNOX EXPRESS CANS GET A PACKAGING UPGRADE

Fernox, the industry’s leading water treatment expert, is excited to introduce its updated line of Express cans.

Designed for all hydronic heating systems, the high performance range of Protectors, Noise Silencers, Cleaners, and Stop Leak Fluids now have additional improved features.

Recognizing the opportunity to improve usability, the Fernox Express Cans have seen several key feature upgrades while maintaining the same high quality product. The cans now feature a new adapter for a better, more secure fit with garden hose thread (GHT) fittings, improving compatibility and ease of use for installers. Additionally, a new clear dosing hose allows for easy visual monitoring which helps users to ensure accurate dosage, every time.

To further support the quality and compliance of the Fernox Express cans, the products are proudly manufactured in the United States, ensuring local standards are met and reinforcing our commitment to providing industry professionals with high quality products.

While the packaging has undergone some upgrades, the well known and trusted products have remained unchanged and continue to deliver impressive results professionals can rely on. The range of products includes the Fernox Protector F1, the market leading inhibitor that protects against corrosion and scale in mixed metal systems to prevent breakdown and premature boiler failure. Fernox Cleaner F3 Express is a non-foaming cleaner which removes sludge, scale, and debris which, when used in conjunction with Protector F1, provides energy savings of up to 15%*.

Additionally, Fernox Silencer F2 Express reduces boiler noise and restores heat transfer capability in all types of boilers, and Leak Sealer F4 Express is designed to seal small inaccessible leaks which are likely to cause pressure loss and boiler breakdown. Fernox Protector+ Filter Fluid F9 Express is an active dispersant which is proven to aid the safe collection of corrosion, debris, and scale via a filter.

The F1, F2, F3, F4 and F9 Express Cans enable a system to be treated in just 30 seconds via a radiator, filling loop, or Fernox TF1 System Filter, and one can of product treats up to 34 US Gallons of system water (16 radiators) or the equivalent of 2690sq. ft of underfloor systems. The complete range is high-performing, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly, and the formulation is approved by NSF, CIAS, and KIWA, and supports boiler manufacturers’ warranty requirements and long-term system protection.

SYSTEM CLEANING WITH FERNOX CLEANER F3 ON A RESIDENTIAL HYDRONIC HEATING SYSTEM

The efficiency of residential heating systems is influenced by more than the boiler’s combustion performance. Key factors include emitter efficiency, system water quality, circulation rates, insulation, ventilation, and environmental conditions. Many of these are interdependent, making controlled efficiency studies difficult. This trial simplifies the evaluation by focusing on measurable parameters before and after cleaning, including: This trial was conducted to
